We built Still Room Design Plus for people who value calm and clarity — and we treat your data the same way. Here is exactly what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.
When you create an account we store your name and email address. To personalize your experience we store your sensory profile (your answers to the calm-space quiz), the rooms and sensitivities you save, and your Still Room progress. If you upload room photos for AI analysis or your Still Room, those images are stored so you can return to them.
Your sensory profile is used to tailor recommendations and to adapt the app's colours and typography to feel calmer for you. Photos and profile details you submit for AI features are sent to our AI provider solely to generate your personalized guidance — they are not used to train third-party models.
AI recommendations, photo analysis and Still Room plans are generated using Anthropic's Claude model via Emergent's managed AI service. The relevant text or image is sent to generate a response and is not sold or shared for advertising.
Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer reference and your subscription status. We never see or store your full card details — Stripe handles all payment information directly.
Still Room Design Plus shares one secure backend with our companion mobile app. Signing in on web or mobile uses the same account, so your profile, saved items, Still Room progress and subscription stay in sync across both.
You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, saved items, Still Room data and daily tips from our database, and cancels any active subscription. This action cannot be undone.
You can view and edit your sensory profile at any time, change your language, manage or cancel your subscription, and delete your account and data. If you have questions about your data, email us at stillroomdesign@gmail.com.
